Becoming a Manager/Off-Ice Volunteer

Our organization runs on volunteers. All families are required to have at least one guardian volunteer throughout the season. Volunteer opportunities include managing a team, penalty box attendant, scorekeepting/clock, etc. You can find all the necessary information to become a manager in our organization here.

STEPS TO BECOME A MANAGER/VOLUNTEER

Please complete the following three steps to become a manager or off-ice volunteer in LIHA.

1. Obtain a USA Hockey Number (this is free). Please email this to your team manager or coach once completed.
2. Complete the background screen (this needs to be renewed every other year).
3. Complete Safesport training (will be good for 1 year from date of completion).
