24-Hour Rule
The intent of this rule is to move an emotional and confrontational discussion away from the presence of players, and to allow a "cooling off" period for parties to compose themselves and put the provoking incident or situation in perspective.
To file a grievance with the Board of Directors after the 24-hour "cooling off" period, you must complete and return this form.
Zero Tolerance Policy
LIHA is a drug-free environment, and the Board of Directors will enforce a zero-tolerance policy for the use of alcohol, drugs, and/or controlled substances.

LIHA's current bylaws. Approved and adopted by the Board of Directors on January 13, 2025.
Code of Conduct
The Player Code of Conduct is completed by all LIHA players at the time of registration.
The Parent Code of Conduct is completed by LIHA parents/guardians at the time of registration.
Inclement Weather
Inclement Weather Cancellation Policy
Game/practice cancellations due to inclement weather will be posted on the LIHA website and social media channels as soon as possible.
Locker Room Policies
Mixed-Gender Locker Room Policy
USA Hockey requires that at least one responsible adult be outside all hockey locker rooms at all times when players are present.
Some teams consist of both male and female players. It is important that the privacy rights of all players are given consideration and appropriate arrangements made.
