Chris Margiotta Named Head Coach of High School Club

The LIHA Coaching Selection Committee has named Chris Margiotta as the Head Coach for High School Club Team!

Chris Margiotta's Bio:
Chris grew up in Peoria, Arizona and started playing hockey in high school. After helping lead his team to a Varsity State Championship, Chris turned his passion of working in the ice rink industry and coaching into a career. Before making the move to Nebraska, Chris had spent the last 5 seasons coaching the Allen Eagles High School Varsity and JV teams. During that time, he has coached his Varsity team to a league quarterfinalist and JV team to a state championship runner up. In his last season in Texas, Chris also coached an 18uAA team to a league runner up and a Squirt A team to two tournament championships and a league championship. Several of his players have gone on to play hockey at the junior and college level.

Chris has a coaching philosophy where Practices are very high-tempo, which always cover the systems of the game at a high impact speed. Practices are structured to ensure maximum player participation, and create a higher quality and quantity of repetitions for optimal skill development. Players are held accountable for their level of play, work ethic and attitude; on and off the ice.

More information about the season will be announced shortly.
